A few days ago, I purchased 6 CATs on the website for ManhattanGMAT. Upon finishing one of these CATs, I was presented with an overall score of 730. As much as I was encouraged by this result, I am also puzzled about how the result was computed. My breakdown was Q45/V45. The Quant was at the 68th percentile, and the Verbal was at the 99th percentile. I was very surprised to see a 730, which was at the 96th percentile. Basically, I'm very surprised that the overall score was seemingly skewed toward the Verbal.
I'm really old, but I'll never be too old to become more educated.

Q45 V45 = 730 is what 800score's calculator (https://www.800score.com/score2.html) predicts, and it fits results other people have gotten (https://www.beatthegmat.com/i-just-beat- ... tml#405165)

Hi tomada,

There's a difference between "Scaled Score" data and "Percentile" data. The Scaled Scores tell you how well you performed against the TEST; the Percentiles tell you how well you performed relative to OTHER Test Takers. The Percentile data for the Verbal has a bigger "swing" than the Percentile Data for the Quant (as you can clearly see). Your combination of Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores placed you at a high OVERALL percentile for the Test.
