Hello!

Answer E has two issues:
1. By adding the comma before the word "and," it creates a comma splice. Since the clause after "and" doesn't contain a subject, it doesn't need a comma.
2. The verb "to reach" isn't parallel to the previous verb "continuing." It should be "reaching" or "is reaching."
