Hi everyone,

I've been studying for the GMAT since June this year, rigorously for about 3-4 hours a day, including the weekends. I recently started my Princeton Review course and I'm going into my 4th/7th week. My test is scheduled for September 29th, but I'm not scoring anywhere close to 700. At the rate I'm improving, I think that I can get in the 650 range by the end of this month.

Should I reschedule to a later time so that I can leave more time to improve to 700? Or should I take the test to see what I get and then take it a second time if I'm unhappy with my score? At least, I'll have a score on file besides putting it off. I also think my work schedule will be more intense in October and November.

It seems that all the schools I'm interested in take the highest score, so taking it a second time won't hurt right?

Also, I'm working two full-time 40 hour jobs and I have really great work experience. Do I even need to aim so high??

Any past experiences with applying or retaking the exam will be extremely helpful. Thanks!!
