Yameni -

Thanks for contacting Clear Admit for some advice . . . given that the early entry option is a brand new option for candidates this year, it's somewhat difficult to say how competitive you are since there's no prior reference point to leverage. That said, the director has gone on record saying that the quality expectations will be at a similarly high level as is found with ISB's other application options. It does sound like it's going to be a very rigorous selection process . . . I've read that they're envisioning roughly 1500 EEO applicants this cycle, and once these students end up enrolling, about 150 of their ~750 PGP students will come from the Young Leaders Program and EEO.

As you've likely seen on the ISB website, they're assessing applicants on three main criteria - academics, leadership potential, and "personality attribute" which I interpret as fit. Given those dimensions, it seems to me that your profile dovetails well with what they're seeking. Your academics are pretty compelling, you've had some professional leadership experiences in your work, and you have a good track record of extracurricular involvement.

The one concern I have is how they will interpret all of this with the fact that you already have 1.5 years of work experience. While I think you still fall within the 2-year upper limit to be eligible to apply through this option, you're at the upper end of the spectrum and I can imagine the adcom thinking that they'll pass on you now since you would likely be applying through their regular PGP process in the near future. That is speculation, though.

I hope that helps, and best wishes with your application!

Regards,
Jon
