Hi Anshul,

Thanks for your post. While you have a solid quant score on your GMAT, your overall score is a little bit low for INSEAD. Have you take the exam more than once? Would you be open to taking it again? While you seem to have solid professional experience to date, a higher GMAT could help you be a bit more competitive.

Additionally, you don't mention extracurricular activities. Be sure that you have activities and personal interest that you can mention in your essays (in particular those that have helped hone your leadership or team experience). These activities can help set you apart from others and make a big difference in the adcoms overall opinion of your application.

Regards,

Stacey

Thanls Stacey for the reply.

I have taken the GMAT only once and given the deadlines for INSEAD(15 Jun for Jan'12 intake) I would not be able to give again!

Regd extracurricular...i hav been a participant, winner in various such activities throughout my academic and professional career. Infact i have been office bearer for many such clubs, committees. Also I have been involved in various social activites too

So what do u suggest..should i go for INSEAD?

Hi,

Thanks for the additional information. I agree, you don't have time to retake the GMAT before the deadline. That being said, you need to feel confident in the rest of your profile before applying. If you feel like you can put together a compelling application based on your professional and personal experiences, then by all means you should apply. You certainly don't want to look back and regret not applying.

Best of luck,

Stacey
