Hi Everybody,

I'm a newbie on these forums. I had a quick question regarding the Bachelor's GPA and Master's GPA. My Master's is from a US Graduate school (AFIT-Air Force Institute of Technology-Wright Paterson Air Force Base-Dayton OHIO) in Computer Engineering. My Bachelor's is from a Turkish university in Computer Engineering .My master’s GPA is 3.59.My Bachelor’s GPA is 2.89.Which one would be considered?

Dear susamleesmith,

Both transcripts will be scrutinized in your evaluation, but the undergraduate GPA is the one that factors into the schools' rankings. Thus some will tell you the undergraduate GPA is a potential weakness for you. However, if you have a strong GMAT score, then you should be able to mitigate it by the GMAT and the master's transcript.

Good luck,
Lisa
