Hi,
Could someone please comment on following sentence:

A new place does not synonym loneliness or boredom, rather it provides an opportunity to interact with new people, explore new place and culture; and savor great food.

Does the usage of 'synonym' correct here?

No, "synonym" cannot be used as a verb; it can only be used as a noun.
