is |x|=y-z
if x>=0.then x=y-z,
if x<0, then x=-(y-z)=z-y
(1) x=z-y, but says nothing about x i mean +ve or -ve. insuff
(2)x<0 but no info about y-z
together
x<0 and x=z-y. so |x|=y-z suff

From the first statement I deduced x is positive. Why is it wrong?
