Gmat prep DS Remainder problem positive integer m

What is the value of the positive integer m ?

1)When n is divided by 6 the remainder is 3

2) When 15 is divided by m, the remainder is 6.

OA B

I know this question is much easier if you try doing it the substitution way, is there a easier(faster) way though of solving this sum? using the N=Dq+r formula. I see two sets of possibilities for the right option's choice, given the quotient isn't specified, how would we arrive at the OA?

St 1 is completely ruled out.

St 2 There is only 1 number which if you divide 15 with your remainder will be 6.

15=mb+6
mb = 9

Factors of 9 are = 9, 3, 1
1 and 3 when divided by 15 give you a remainder of 0
Only 9 when divided by 15 gives you a remainder of 6
So the answer is B.

I am thinking stmt I should read m and not n but anyways its INSUFF


Stmt II

15/M = INT QUOTIENT + 6

15 = M * INT QUOTIENT + 6

The only number that fits this bill is 9 (no other number leaves a remainder 6 when 15 IS DIVIDED by it)

M = 9
SUFF
