This is one of the sample explanation PS questions given by Kaplan Premier Program:
If w>x>y>z on the number line and y is halfway between x and z, and x is halfway between 2 and z, then y-x/y-w=

The author applies the Picking Numbers stategy, assuming z=2, y=4, x=6. And then she states: That would make w=10. Why 10? Why not 8 for example?
