When working with machine B, the maximum amount of pencils that machine A can produce is 9000*8=72,000 pencils. It's all up to machine B to produce the rest of the pencils.

Rest of the pencils= 100,000-72,000=28,000.

Amount of time it'll take machine B to produce 28,000 pencils= 28,000/7,000= 4 hours.
