I am applying for the Masters of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications program at a few different schools. I am more of a creative type and hoping to transition from Radio to PR/Advertising and Math has never been my strong point.

THE MATH ON THE GMAT SCARES ME!!!!

I live in Savannah, Ga. and there are no classes held here so i can only do self study. I have the Kaplan Premier and the Kaplan Math specific workbook. Are there any people here in Savannah that can recommend or provide a tutor service? Are there any IMC people that can provide some words of advice?

I am not really going for an MBA but it still requires the GMAT.

Hi Sq,

Just one word of advice - make sure you take multiple online practice tests. Taking a CAT test on the computer is VERY DIFFERENT from doing test problems from a book or working off paper.

Many sites offer free online practice exams, including my company, Veritas Prep. Here is the link -

Good luck in your test prep!
