I think it is entirely a personal decision whether you want to study in Canada or the US. Generally, it is easier to get PR in Canada than in the US.Also the cost of studies in Canada is lower than the US. However, the universities in the US are more globally renowned than their Canadian counterparts.

Hey rishi,
thanks for ur inputs but what i have seen is people normally opt for one the four colleges of canada, that is Ivey, rotman, schulich and queens.that are the top 4 colleges

So, what if one gets admit to some 15 or lower rank of US college and in one of these top 4 of canada, I think then it is better to go for canada, Please correct if I am wrong...

And do you have any idea whether spouse can work in canada or not?

I don't know the answer to your question. I suggest contacting Canadian embassy, although it may be hard to reach them. You can call 1-800-O-Canada. They will transfer you to an apropriate department where you can get your answer.

As an immigrant I can tell you one thing though, it is much nicer to study in Canada. Canadian's dont have as much ego as American's do.

@sch - You should not be giving such strong statements in a forum dude (irrespective of your beliefs)
