Hi guys,
I need some advice. I prepared for the GMAT for quite sometime (did not take any prep courses). Did all the questions from OG 11 and OG Review books. Took 10 practice tests. In the first three MGMAT tests, taken in late Feb and March, scored in the 610-640 range and in the last three (Apr - May) scoree in the 680-710 range. In the first GMAT Prep got 650 (Feb) and the last test got 710 (week before the test).
Took the GMAT today and got a 600 (Q40, V32), way below what I was shooting for. Did poorly in the Q which is my fault (lack of preparation in geometry and inequalities) but the V score surprised me. I will leave out the other boring details and reason that might be behind this score. But it feels like someone just kicked me where it hurts.
So wanted to ask you guys, if I decide to retake the test, what would be a good way to improve my Verbal skills? What will be a good starting point. I am usually stronger in math than English, so I plan to buy a math review book and do a lot of practice questions. However, I feel lost as how to work on improving the Verbal score.
