B-schools and last 2 years of undergrad

by Daniell » Thu Apr 09, 2009 4:05 pm
Hi Stacy,
I'm in my last year of undergrad in U of T, Canada. When researching business schools some say that they look at the last two years of undergrad. My academic counselor told me it means the last 30 credits of undergrad (the total is 60 for 4 years).
I also hear that some schools look at the last 2 years of major-courses.

Which is the right criteria?

Thanks,
Dan.

Dear Dan,

How your transcript is evaluated will vary by school. Some will scrutinize your entire transcript, others will focus on the final two years or 30 hours in your case, and others will focus on courses in your major. Regardless, it is important to finish strong and then have success in your professional career after graduation as part of a competitive application for business school.

Good luck,
Lisa
