Between is used when comparing 2 objects.
Among is used when comparing more than 2...

Answer: B

Here Emissions of Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide is 1 unit lets say X

you need to find Y as the idiom is BETWEEN X AND Y

Y is atmoshperic water.

So E is correct.

IMO E

A) wrong structure. Correct structure is "between.....and"
B) same as A
C) here which refers to vapor not the reaction
D) Same as C
E) correct answer
