I understand we need to take a stand on the essay issue> However there may be some topics on which we agree partly and add some more ideas and areas (not covered in the topic) to substantiate our view point. Is it recommended to partly agree with the topic ?

Example:
In order to understand a society, we must examine the contents of its museums and the subjects of its memorials. What a society chooses to preserve, display, and commemorate is the truest indicator of what the society values

I agree that museums give an insight in the valeus but we also need to look at media, culture, belief's to understand the values in entirety.

Is this stand correct ?

please advise
thanks
