Need info on US Universities

by brutes » Wed Jul 18, 2012 9:14 am
Hi...i m planning to take the gmat next month and wanting to apply in US B schools by the first round (majority round1 deadline is around 1st week oct)

Question1: is it better to apply in round 1 than round 2 regarding selection rate and scholarships?
Question2: what kind of scholarships are available and criteria for the same?
Question3: i have heard people getting tuition wavier (full and partial) along with some sort of assistantship (TA/RA/GA) and stipend too. which schools offer such sort of options? also how do i apply for such assistantships as this is the only way i can rely to fund my education!

If anyone can answer these questions precisely, it would be of great help!!
I tried searching the same over net but no luck so far!!
Regards

Generally the earlier the better to answer questions 1.

Not sure what you mean in question 2.

Most every school will offer programs and it varies by school how to apply and what to do. The best thing would be to narrow your list of schools you want to attend and speak with admissions office about financing.
