It is hard to comment fully with the limited information you posted. While you have solid work experience and a high GPA, your GMAT is below average for your target schools. That is not to say your GMAT score, on its own, will result in a rejected application, but it is something to consider when you weigh the strengths of the rest of your application components. Your essays, recommendations and interview are critical components that you need to use to your advantage in making your case for a seat in the class. Depending on how you feel the strength of your overall application is, you might also consider retaking the GMAT to increase your score at least 20 points as 680+ will make you more competitive for your current list.

If you believe you can increase your score and have the time, then it would be worth retaking. However, you should not spend the resources on a retake if it will sacrifice other parts of your application or if you do not feel you can increase your score.
