I have a 700 GMAT score. A 3.8 GPA from an average public university.
Problem is my quant score is weak (60th percentile - 41) and I don't have a lot of quant classes in my background. Also I don't have much in the way of extracurriculars. I'm 28, a good 3 or 4 years of experience in the field of Marketing Analytics.
I thought perhaps with a good 700 score I'd have a decent shot at a Harvard or Yale but it looks like maybe I was wrong. Should I even bother applying to one of those schools or should I just go to a local university here? I hate to waste a good score and go to an average school.
