if you are asking how to solve for a,
I would take the equation a*sqrt(c/d) = c
Squaring both sides,
a^2*cd = c^2.
a^2 = c^2 * d/c (cancel c)
a^2 = cd
Solve for a,
a = sqrt (cd).

Hope this helps.
