Option E.

Use past tense action happened in past.
Also i guess the sentence is slightly subjunctive therefore i went with the infinitive form of the verb.
Not sure though if it is correct.

E

(A) seems to wrongly modify hosea hudson. hudson could not have been the organization itself

(B) seems to wrongly modify hosea hudson

(C) "they" does not agree with singlular organization

(D) since is used when a definite time is given, no time reference given, use of since is incorrect

(E) correct, gives the reason for hoseas joining the org. "it" refers to the organization.

D) since is used when a definite time is given, no time reference given, use of since is incorrect

imo:E

there is a causation condition here..

@SD

try googling for since you will find many sentences where since is used in place of because

you can also search in https://corpus.byu.edu/

you will find the same confusion there...
