Clearly A

let me explain

MALE

m,.......................,(m+14)

FEMALE
f,..........................,(f+12)

Range=(m-f)+14

hence its A as A tells us that m-f=15

hmmm. I know the first statement is sufficient but shouldn't the range of the team be 29?

The tallest man is +14 from the shortest man. The shortest man is +3 from the tallest woman. So the tallest man is +17 from the tallest woman. The tallest woman is +12 from the shortest woman. So the range from the tallest man to the shortest woman is +29. No?

I agree, answer should be 29.

ML - MS = 14----I
FL - FS = 12-----II

ML - FS = ?

MS = 3 + FL, substitute this in I equation

ML -3 -FL = 14
FL = ML -17, substitute this in II equation

ML - 17 - FS = 12
ML - FS= 12+17 = 29
