odds and even

. If k is an even integer and p and r are odd integers, which of the following CANNOT be an integer?
(A) r/k

(B) k/p

(C) p/r

(D) kp/r

(E) kr/p

Should be A) r/k
Odd Num/Even Num will not result in an integer.
All others are possible
B) 6/3
C) 9/3
D) 6*9/3
E) Again, 6*9/3

The only way to insure that the numbers won't divide into an integer is to divide an odd number by an even number. A satisfy such condition.

And if you didn't see the conceptual answer here, you could plug in the simplest odd and even numbers you can think of:

r = p = 1
k = 2

and you'll see that the answer must be A.
