Hi.

This is the Issue essay so you need to think of reasons why you would agree or disagree. You need to have an opinion on this. The first thing you need to do is Brainstorm (think and take notes) and I suggest you think of a few points for each side. For example:

Agree:
- Small businesses allow more diversity/uniqueness/personality in society thus contributing to the society's health as a whole
- small businesses will have more people employed/involved than larger more automated ones which is good for society economically and psychologically
- With larger corporations monopolies are created and they can do what they want and take away a society's freedom

Disagree:
- bigger corporations make things more efficient/get rid of waste and mismanagement occurring in small business which can hurt society as a whole since progress occurs more easily when things are more efficient
- bigger corporation can offer lower prices for society therefore contributing to better economic well being for society

Now, once you have these ideas/reasons why you agree or disagree with one or the other side, you will use these as your basis for your essay. I would choose the Agree side and each of the reasons I came up with will be the first sentence of each of the 3 Body/Content Paragraphs (ie the paragraphs that are not the Introduction or Conclusion). Or if you do not have time then take two ideas which will represent only 2 Body/Content Paragraphs. Each of the Body Paragraphs will also include an explanation of your reason and an example.

The main thing you want to do when thinking about the topic is to think of WHY you would agree with one or the other side, then choose one of the sides and write about it.

Hope this helps!
