Difficulty of Maths questions in OG

The difficulty level of problems are arranged in ascending order i.e easy questions appear first and harder questions appear last. so if you want to try harder problems, you must work out final 1/3rd portion of the problems or last 75-100 questions.

To me, diagnostic tests look the same as practice questions.

I thought the diagnostic questions were more straight forward than the more difficult questions in the rest of the book. The biggest thing is to identify the topic you get wrong and then proceed to shore up that weakness. Knowing how to do that specific problem on the test is irrelevant because on the actual exam it will be asked a completely different way. Use the OG to identify weaknesses and really learn the topic thoroughly.

i agree and papgust is spot-on with the increasing level of difficulty. However, on the whole, i would say the level is 600ish. For tougher questions, I personally recommend the MGMAT CATs & Jeff Sackman's Challenge Sets

Agree with you 100%. This is what I did not do in GMAT attempts. I simply noted the list of questions that I got wrong and reviewed them. I did not really analyze the topic of questions that I got wrong and did not make any logs in terms of the type for error such as concept problem, silly mistake etc. I only went through the list of questions second time and tried to solve them again.

sreak1089 MGMAT has a neat tool where you can go through the problems they've suggested and basically use the GMAT testing format to answer the questions. Then you can download your answers and paste them into an excel document... to see your areas of weakness.

I took a look at the GMAT Hacks sample, and I think I will be purchasing this after my class.

Anybody have tried MGMAT challenge set (a collection of 250 difficult questions)? How is that? I am suren usually MGMAT explanations are very good.

How much is this? I've been asking people about the advanced math guide they said they are releasing but no one has any info on it :(

Yeah, can anyone vouch for which of those sets are worth purchasing? At this point I'm not shelling out 250 for those unless someone can tell me that their quant score went from a 40 to a 55.

I am not sure if this is advanced math guide or not. What I know is that they have Challenge Archive (a collection of 250 challenging questions) for $ 29.
