I am an Indian/ Female/ Engineer /IT background, with 3+ yrs (4 yrs by the time of joining)experience as a Software engineer in a reputed US Company.
My work profile involves working on and managing small projects (small team sizes - 2/3) with collaboration with international teams and technical interactions with customers.
Gmat score 750 (Q49/ V42/ havent recd AWA score yet), Undergrad 80% (which is within the top 5%, no GPA)
Very few ex-curriculars when in school, many in the last 2 years (with some prizes in company sports events - badminton)
Community work - involved in multiple teaching and mentoring activities in schools for the poor.
These are a few questions I have:
1)Should I get my score converted to a GPA?
2)Do I need to take TOEFL? Or should I get an exempt by mailing to each school's admission committee?
The medium of instruction has been English all through - school to undergrad.
Also, I want to specialize in Strategy consulting, what do you think are my chances at the top 5 schools? Harvard/Wharton/Stanford/Kellog/Tuck
Am also looking at MIT/ Berkeley / Cornell/ Darden/ UCLA / Duke.
3)Can you please evaluate which of these schools are stretch and where I have a good chance.
4)Are there any other schools which are known for Consulting (Strategy / Technology) specialities which I have missed in this list?
Thanks
