i dont think if any online course helps you increase your score.
u can get plenty of material online (For free) use it . use it wisely and u wont need any online course.
u can join such course surely if they offer you plenty of 'CAT simulated GMAT practise tests'
but if they dont ..then i think its waste of maney.

You know, the only place I ever heard of GMAX before was the GMATClub.com site, and they now have a relationship with them and promote it.
I in general think courses are good, but try self prep first. I would recommend the GMATPrep tests (they're free) and getting the Official Guide and Princeton Review's Cracking the GMAT book with the tests on CD. Then see how you do.
