Newcomer need your help

I have been preparing for the gmat for about 4 months. i have the test date for dec 5th and i am considering rescheduling. i went through og guide 11 deliberately trying to understand each question. my foundation books include kaplan 800, kaplan math workbook, kap premier, manhattan sc, kap verbal. i am comfortable with the verbal and rarely get a question wrong. but math is beating me.

i went through fundamental concepts for rates, proportion, probability, geometry etc but then i take the practise set for quant only and end up with a score of 36. I cant get past the basic questions. they have me stumped. so i dont get to more difficult questions which i am probably able to answer because i spent so much time on them. the basic questions involve radicals and some algebra questions. how do i rectify this. is there a book you can recommend? i am currently going to og 10 and i can answer most of the questions so it sucks that i see a simple question on the test prep and cant answer it. where is the best place to get an understanding of the basics. should i reschedule this dec 5th exam?

I suggest you don't take the test if you are not very confident...If you end up with a very low score (God forbid), your confidence will be dented seriously...Take the test when you are really confident..
