A. Is the measure of one of the interior angles of triangle ABC
equal to 60 degrees?
(1) One of the interior angles of ABC is a right angle.
(2) The degree measure of angle BCA is twice the
degree measure of angle CAB.

B.The perimeter of a rectangular window is 28 feet. What is the
length of the window?
(1) The di¤erence between the length and width is 2 feet.
(2) The length of the window is 1/3 greater than the width.

Statement1

The value of one interior angle is given = 90
The sum of other two interior angles = 90
Insufficient as no other information is given about other two interior angles.

Statement 2

Let angle CAB =x
So angle BCA = 2x
Let angle ABC = y
x+2x+y = 180
2 variables 1 equation
Insufficient

Combining both the statements

So IMO answer isE

Let
Length = L and
Width = W
Given 2L+2W=28
L+W = 14

Statement 1

The difference of the two is given but it is not specified which of the two is greater.
Hence insufficient

Statement 2

L = 1/3*W + W
L = 4/3*W
Relation b/w Length and Width is given
Hence Sufficient
So answer is B
