dont understand the wording of this problem

2000 should be correct since then printer price would be 500 and that would be 1/5 of the total price..

what am i doing wrong

Price of enhanced computer and printer = 2500 + 500 = 3000

Price of printer = 1/5 x 3000 = 600

Therefore, price of basic computer = 2500 - 600 = 1900
