Average of points R,S, and T= R+S+T/3
But since the answer choices are in terms of r,s,t where r is the absolute value of r, s is the absolute value of s, and t is the absolute value of t, we have to keep in mind that point R is really negative and the absolute value of it will make it positive. So, when taking averages we have to do s+t-r/3, if we did, s+t+r/3, we'd be wrong since we're considering point R to be positive when it's really not.
