anyways, let's start off with big triangle.
Base = (14,0) and (2,0). Now we know that base is on x-coordinate, therefore 14-2 = 12.
Height of the triangle is (8,12), ycoordinate of 12.
So you have 12 x 12 = 144, then /2 for area of 72.
now, same for small triangle.
base = (10,0) - (6,0) = 4
height = (8,4) = 4
(4x4)/2 = 8
8 to 72
or
1 to 9
Hence, the answer A
