Hello,
So I am applying for grad schools for the Masters in Accountancy (Macc.) degree. So far I have already been accepted to DePaul University in Chicago. I am nearly complete with an application to Purdue University for the same degree. I like both schools about equally, and I weighed some benefits to each:
-DePaul: Right in the heart of Chicago, literally down the street from Big 4 firm offices. Smaller school, accounting is more of a focus than at Purdue
-Purdue: More prestigious name, larger school; larger network
I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the accountancy programs and could offer me some advice.
P.S. for FAFSA, does it matter which school I am planning on attending? Or should I just start applying for financial aid now?
Thanks!
-Daniel
