The OA, however, is C..I dont know why!!

IMO C.

Nowhere in Prakta is the influence of modern European architecture more apparent than their government buildings.
(A) more apparent than their - wrong, uses their
(B) so apparent as their- wrong same as above
(C) more apparent than in its
(D) so apparent than in their - wrong, same as A & B
(E) as apparent as it is in its

Now, between (C) and (E). (C) sounds short and succinct.
Moreover in option (E) as apparent as it is in its. 'it' is a repetitive of modern architecture.

what's the OA ?

A,B & D: "their" has no antecedent.

E: "as apparent as" changes meaning. "More" is different from "as apparent as". Furthermore, when the notation is negative, is "nowhere is so apparent as". Also wordy.

Can you please help me to figure out when to use as apparent as and more apparent than .

1.Nowhere in Prakta is the influence of modern European architecture as apparent as it is in its government buildings.

I will certainly rule out A, B and D because of wrong pronoun usage.
"Their" should refer to a plural antecedant and Pratka is not a plural antecedant.
Between C and E, I would always pick C. Remember here we are comparing the "govenment buildings" of Pratka to all other places in Pratka, for comparisons where similarity is not to be shown we must use
"than" instead of "as x as...".
