k/a = 5/3
5a=3k (i)

(k-10)/(a+10) = 7/5
5k-50=7a+70 (ii)

Solving with the 2 equations you get k=150 and a=90

after the gift of 10 stamps k=140 and a=100

Kaye has 40 more stamps after the gift
