I feel the answer should be A... can anyone explain why it should be C
st 1 : each of three faces of C is exactly 1/2 red

No of faces : 6

St 1 leaves out a possiblity about other 3 faces. What if in other 3 sides are partly filled with red??

Insufficient

St 2:

No idea abt red

Combining st 1 & st2 :

No of white faces : 3

No of faces remaining : 6-3 = 3
So the red color should be painted ONLY on this 3 faces.
st 1 gives us the idea, each of three faces of C is exactly 1/2 red
So (1/2) * 3 faces are red

Fraction of red face: (1/2) * 3/ 6
= 1/4

Pick C
