There are many resources that can answer these questions for you. The London Financial Times ranks European schools as well as providing an overall international rating. Topmba.com also has tons of information on schools around the world.

For information on post-graduation careers, look at the school websites. They will often tell you what countries, what industries and even what companies their graduates work in. Many will provide salary information as well.

The first consideration in choosing a school should be whether it offers the education you need. Be sure to check out the curriculum in light of your career goals. Location is important as it relates to the companies who hire from the school and the networks formed by a school's graduates. Often the networks are strongest closest to the campus.

Good luck,

St. Gallen MBA is one of the top MBA programmes in Switzerland. It attracts a calibre stream of candidates with substantial work experience. A number of St. Gallen graduates go on to work in the consulting industry, IT, Finance, Pharma amongst others in Switzerland or Germany. One of their current students Nitin spent ten years working for some of the world's biggest IT's largest firms including IBM, HCL Technologies, Accenture and Oracle before deciding that an MBA would help him to provide answers to some of the challenges tech companies face in integrating business, technology and design.
