IR Discussion

by meanjonathan » Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:57 am
The new IR section is out, but so far there isn't the flurry of discussion I thought there'd be regarding study tips, timing strategy, and general comments. So in an effort to spur on the dialogue, here are few brainstorming questions to mull over:

PREMISE: My limited exposure to IR has yielded raised blood pressure, increased cortisol, and at least one panic attack (I'm scheduled to retake the Gmat on June 18th, ugh), yet it'll be years before enough data is available to support any correlation between IR performance and B-School success. I've got to assume it plausible that schools will, at least for now, unequivocally dispose of the metric.

With this possibility in mind-

1. How much are you studying?
2. What's your target score (1-8)?
3. When are you skipping and when are you toughing it out?
4. How worked up are you?
5. What are you using to study?
6. Have you taken an actual IR Gmat yet?

I look forward to hearing from you!
