Exam Date Dec 2013- Have set a Target of 650

by viks555 » Tue Jun 11, 2013 10:21 pm
Hi,

First i would like to thank everyone on this forum who has shared their valuable input and experiences on GMAT preparations. I plan to take my GMAT exam in dec this year and as the headline suggest i have set a target of 650 for this test.

To start, i took the official GMATprep test on day one WITHOUT STUDYING AT ALL AND CONSUTLING ANY BOOK to get my baseline score. i got a low score of 300. I am not sure if i can call it my baseline score as it now almost 4 years that i am out of college and not in touch with books at all.

I have got the complete set of Manhattan strategy guides (5th edition) and GMAT official guide 13th ed. as my preparation material. Also downloaded the Flash cards.

I would like to have suggestions from forum members on whether i have set a realistic target and if i can achieve this score with 5 month of preparation. Thanks! :)

It is possible, but will definitely take consistent focus. Try to allocate at least 1 hour a day to studies - preferably closer to 2 hours.
