Hi,
I need to score between 450-500, Q:20 V:24, I understand this is really low compared to what others want/need to score (I have a minimal GMAT score requirement to satisfy before I can start taking classes in Fall). Can someone please provide some strategies on what to target, and what to not stress about since I'm not going for a 700+ score. I would like to pass the test the first time around. I've been going through the OG, started studying a week ago, and will take the test the first or second week of June (in 3-4 weeks).

Are there any study guides that helped you the most with quant and verbal basics and strategy?

Let me know if you need more info - any input is greatly appreciated.

HI,

Im no expert but I can help a little.

Quant -
DS question, geometry, set questions, Number theory

verbal
CR- Assumption, strengthning question, Inference question
SC - Pronoun, modifiers, subject/verb agreement,Idioms
RC - General question.

Try downloading new app from GMAC to practice OG 12 questions and also buy Manhattan SC book so that you take free CAT test.

Good Luck.

Vidhya

I also need to score a minimum of 450. I've been studying CliffNotes Math Review for Standardized tests. It's helping me relearn the basics. I have the 12th Edition GMAC book which I find a little hard. But I go over it when I have the chance. I want to take the GMAT sometime in early August. So I want to prepare as much as I can. I study in the morning for 1 hour and then 1 hour at night. Is this engough to meet my minimum? Please suggest any other advice, Thanks!!
