Your experience with Manhatten Prep/OG corresponding Q's?

If you prepped with Manhatten guides and took the OG questions allotted for each topic, how were (largely speaking) they in terms of difficulty versus the actual exam??

I feel like the Manhatten granularity is the "worst case" scenario, meaning it prepares you for the more convoluted, complex questions.

Are you trying to compare the OG questions or the Manhattan guides to the Exam (ambiguous pronoun in SC land)?

The OG has a wide range of questions so the perceived difficulty depends on your level. As for Manhattan, I have noticed that their books tend to be a bit more detailed - this is easier for those who are more comfortable with calculation, but tend to deviate a bit from the style of exam questions.

Not entirely sure that I'm completely understanding Jim's response here, or your original question. For background purposes, OG questions are retired exam questions -- so they mirror the library of questions available for usage on the exam.

I will politely disagree on your characterization of the MGMAT approach as 'worst case.' Our philosophy has always been to teach 'why' and 'how' to solve problems, and not just the 'what.' If you truly understand the topics you are being tested on, it maximizes your chances for domination on the exam.
