Pyramids

by cypherskull » Wed May 16, 2012 8:07 pm
2 solid pyramids are melted together. These pyramids had their number of edges equal to length of each of their edges (=8 units). They are molded to form a hexagonal pyramid with length of each side of base 8 units. Find the slant of the new pyramid.

a. 8/3*(35/3)^(1/2)
b. 2/3*(45/3)^(1/2)
c. 6/7*(34/5)^(1/2)
d. 6/5*(57/5)^(1/2)
Regards,
Sunit
