Those who have read my posts know I am a HUGE fan of these MBA Admissions books. Its a quick (and cheap) way to learn more about the process. Since it often takes several months to prepare, its good to learn the process early on.

My fav books are "How to Get Into A Top MBA Program" by Moutauk and "Your MBA Game Plan" by Bouknight/Shurm

Has anyone else used this book? I would consider it, but it costs over $160 on Amazon!

I personally used "How to Get Into A Top MBA Program" by Montauk during my application process and found it extremely helpful. I did not pay for it, just borrowed in the local library. You can get it from Amazon marketplace for under $20 for the latest edition and dirt cheap for previous editions.
