Accomplishments:
Handled domestic and international clients
Active during analysis and presentation
Received accolades for moderation
2.2 years in family business: commodity trading (foodgrains in the north eastern region of India)
Accomplishments:
Because it is a small firm, I am active in all the functions from finance to operation
Since joined, have opened another branch
Future Goal
Short – term: return back to the firm and introduce a packaged products(of commodity) line too
Long – term: along with previous, i want to start my own organization that functions as a bridge between academics and NGO’s
Reason for MBA: a non-business background , want to be prepared for future challenges
Extracurricular: good
Things i want to ask,
I’m looking at Michigan Ross, Haas, U T Austin . Is this achievable, assuming good essays
Is being Indian and being into a family business over-represented in the applicant pool. Please do let me know your thoughts
Thank you once again.
