The owner of a small grocery store paid $22 for 90 lbs of red delicious apples. He sold one -third of the apples at 0.39 per lb and three-fourths of the remainder at 0.34 per lb; the rest were spoiled. How much, if any, profit did he make?
(A) B
(B) L
(C) A
(D) M
(E) E

a little bit confused with answer choices
30*0,39=11.7
45*0,34=15,3
11,7+15,3=27
27-22=5, that correspondes with E
is it right answer?

I have been answering to little option-less queries on this forum, I also tried to break the law, now you either BLAME or decode the alphabetical order as

B>2
L>12
A>1
M>13
E>5, which is correct too

very unGMATish order, so what? I am breaking law here...
