Hi mukherjee.tanuj3,
This SC provides a number of clues in the answers and in the prompt as to how to find the correct answer. Here are the rules that I used to beat it:
1) Pronouns - the word "them" in the first part of the sentence is a plural pronoun, so we need a plural noun. Eliminate B and D.
2) Parallelism - the sentence lists 3 things a farmer must do for his cows. The first item ("keep them cool") defines the first part of the parallelism. The second and third items must match. The items should be "provided" and "milked." Eliminate A and C.
Final Answer: E
