HELP!!! on RC

I scored very poorly on RC on both GMAT Prep 1 and 2 and the first three Manhanttan tests. What should I do to improve RC? I scored ok on SC and CR. When it comes to RC, I rarely have patient to read the passages and I don't enjoy reading it at all. What should I do? I would rather get half of RC questions right instead got 1 or zero question right.

Please advise.

Tips for Reading Comprehension (RC):
Preparation: Read editorials from NY TimesÂ® or Washington PostÂ® online or
from other newspapers on daily basis. It helps in building your reading speed. It should
be a daily exercise.
Practice: Practice from all possible sources as a lot of raw practice is required to
ace RCs. Practice at least 100 RCs before you start giving mocks.
Aim: Read easier passage in 2-3 minutes & understand the basic gist of it. If the
passage is really tough you can take up to 4 minutes. Do not rest until you
achieve accuracy > 85 % in all practice sets.
Important Tip: We also advice against jumping to questions first & then looking
for answers in the paragraph. Reading essay first makes answering "main point"
& "summary of essay" questions seem like a cakewalk.

When it comes to Reading Comprehension (RC), it's crucial that you engage 100% in the passage. Rather than approach a new passage with dread ("I don't enjoy reading it at all"), try to feign interest ("Excellent! This passage is about stock market regulations in Mexico!"). The better your engagement, the better the results.

First of all stop taking it so hard on yourself. Everyone has some or the other weak point.
Do one thing, after every 5 lines you complete make a summary of it. Initially it'll be time consuming bt after solving around 50 passages you'll see the difference.
It worked for me well. Hope it does the same for you. Cheers
