Manhattan CAT Quant

by li_jon912 » Sat Nov 27, 2010 8:47 pm
I was doing a CAT for the manhattan, and the questions are really hard and wordy. I got like half of them right.
I have finished the whole OG 12th edition Problem Solving and DS, and have gotten like near 90 % of the PS right and about 80% DS right.
Does anyone have the same experience and how hard will the Quant on the real GMAT be?

from what i hear the OG is easier then the actual test... and MGMAT is slightly harder then the actual test..

I have read in many places that real GMAT is more similar to GMAT prep then anything else..

Hey buddy,
Don't worry about the quant scores on the manhattan tests.Just look for your weakness.Look how the same question can be presented in different ways.Keep track of your timing and strengthen your "educated guessing" techniques.
Look at how the solutions are given and what you could have done to get those ideas and tricks to click in your head.
Unless you have a similar problem with GMAT Prep you are good to go.
It takes time and effort to explain, so if my comment helped you please press Thanks button :)

Just because something is hard doesn't mean you shouldn't try,it means you should just try harder.
