Total Employees = 800
Long Term Employees = (.7)(800) = 560
Y = Retiring Employees
Certain Long Term Employees are going to retire. How many of the Long Term Employees need to retire to make the new number of Long Term Employees represent 60% of the new reduced total number of employees?
(Number of Long Term Employees - Retirees) / Total Remaining Employees = 60%
(560-Y) / (800-Y) = .6
.6(800-Y) = (560-Y)
480-.6Y = 560-Y
.4Y = 80
Y = 200
IMO A
